Hypno Summit Portugal in my own words: why I built an intentionally intimate hypnosis experience, and why I built it in Lisbon.

Hypno Summit Portugal was born from a simple observation: some of the most meaningful conversations don't happen on stage. They happen over coffee, at dinner, in the hotel lobby, and in those moments when passionate, curious people come together to explore what is possible.
After attending conferences around the world for many years, I have experienced the best our field has to offer. I have learned from extraordinary teachers, met incredible people, and witnessed the profound impact hypnosis can have on lives. Yet I often found myself longing for something more intimate. More immersive. More connected. Less overwhelming. An experience where learning didn't stop when the speaker left the stage.

Conference centres filled with hundreds, sometimes thousands, of people, endless PowerPoint presentations, information overload, and sensory overwhelm never resonated with me. Bigger and louder doesn't mean better. So I went the other way.
I wanted to create a place where people feel seen, welcomed, safe, inspired, and connected. Intentionally intimate. Intentionally curated. Intentionally slower and more spacious, allowing room for learning, transformation, integration, and meaningful connection.
That vision became Hypno Summit Portugal. A vision that has filled my heart ever since.
One of Europe's most vibrant and beautiful cities. The City of Light I have been fortunate to call home for the last three years. A place that allowed me to slow down, take care of my health, and discover that sitting at the quiosque with an "abatanado" (Portuguese for "Americano"), talking with my Portuguese neighbours about everything and nothing for hours, can be a form of daily self-care.
For the first time in a very long time, I have nowhere else to be.
Hypno Summit Portugal brings together leading experts, innovative thinkers, practitioners, and curious minds from around the world to explore hypnosis, psychology, behavioural change, trauma recovery, neuroscience, and human potential.
But more importantly, it creates space for conversations that matter.
Whether you are a therapist, coach, healthcare professional, student, or simply someone fascinated by personal transformation and human behaviour, Hypno Summit Portugal is designed to challenge assumptions, spark new ideas, and inspire fresh possibilities.
My vision is to create Europe's most inspiring boutique hypnosis experience. A place where learning feels personal, connection happens naturally, and attendees leave not only with new knowledge, but with new perspectives, meaningful relationships, and a renewed sense of what is possible.
Because transformation rarely begins with information alone. It begins with curiosity. And sometimes, all it takes is one conversation, one insight, or one experience to change the direction of a life.
